Frequently Asked Questions

The price isn't for each individual like all of the other scavenger hunts. At HuntforHistory.com there's one price for EVERYONE. After choosing the specific hunt that everyone will do, you just pay and then share that link with the rest of your group (it expires after 5 hours).

There is nothing extra that you must purchase to enjoy one of our adventures.

We design our tours to be amazing and fun and budget friendly.

There's a description of the specific adventure on each location page so that you know what to expect.

Sometimes it's clues and images but some challenging hunts might have images or numbers only.

Currently we have 4 hunts  in San Diego (Balboa Park) and 3 hunts in Tbilisi, Georgia (Rike Park, Old Town and Metekhi).

More to come.

Absolutely! And, just one price no matter the size of the group. Our hunts are perfect for solo adventurers as well as for groups and families. It’s a great way for families, friends, couples and singles to explore a new city or place while solving fun challenges.

The adventure is fun for younger players because they can help find pictures even if the written clues are a bit tough for them.

There is no need to book your adventure until you are ready since all of the clues are online. Refunds are available if we can’t conduct the hunt due to technical issues. For any changes, contact us as early as possible, and we’ll do our best to help.

Booking a scavenger hunt is easy. Simply select your location, then click on the specific area you want. For example, to start the Rike Park adventure in Tbilisi, Georgia, click on the Rike Park link on the Tbilisi page. You'll then be directed to the payment page, and after booking, you’ll be redirected to your adventure.

We encourage our guests to do it at their own pace (unless they’re competing against friends or family!). That stated, all scavenging hunt adventures are designed to be completed in about 1-2 hours. Keep the tab open when you are finished so that you can go back and read the local history at your leisure.

Feel free to contact with questions, what we can improve on, building your own huntforhistory scavenger hunt, etc.

We offer events in San Diego and limit out of town to per request.

Why Adventurers Love Us!

It was a lot of fun! We took turns solving the clues. We learned more about Old Tbilisi than on a guided tour we did. Thanks.

We are travelers and like trying new things. It's basically a self-guided history tour but a lot of fun. Our little guy was even able to help by finding some of the pictures with our guidance. We did the Rike Park adventure and would highly recommend it.

Okay. We admit we are competitive and made teams. Two of us on the left finished FIRST. That made it even more fun))) We did the Old Town Tbilisi hunt and learned a lot as well as had fun. We especially liked that it was one price for All of us.
